Habits of Mind are those intelligent behaviours that we associate with all successful people from a range of backgrounds. This workshop will introduce you to the 16 Habits of Mind and suggest some practical ways of how to embed these across the whole secondary curriculum.

Outcomes:

Understand the Habits of Mind programme.
Appreciation of how these habits can help a school strive for excellence.
Practical ideas on how to implement and embed the habits in both the curriculum and pastoral programme of a secondary school.
An overview of a strategic plan for integration.

Additional information: Some basic knowledge of the habits is required. Pre-reading materials will be sent out as part of the course.
