This workshop will focus on the art of Thunking as pioneered by Ian Gilbert and championed as part of the P4C approach. Thunks are beguilingly simple questions that make your brain hurt in a good way! Thunking is a simple but effective way to engage students in some really philosophical and fun thinking.

Outcomes:

Understand the concept of Thunking.
Appreciate the links between Thunking and cognitive approaches
Clear and workable ideas on how to embed Thunking in your school
Resources to help you start straight away.
