Kestrel Education works with schools that seek a systematic strategy with which to further develop independent learning.

We support schools in:

the development and implementation of a range of thinking tools and strategies that will become a natural part of a student's repertoire.

the creation of a creative and critical thinking culture in which young people learn to understand their own thinking and the thinking of others.

Kestrel works in partnership with the Cognitive Education Centre (CEC) and The Aspire Programme at the University of Exeter. The Cognitive Education Centre accredits schools meeting its criteria as 'Thinking Schools'.
